Marathon
Your marathon ticket
The Amsterdam International Salsa Marathon will not take place on 25 to 28 September 2026. We are moving it to Friday 28 to Monday 31 May 2027, the last weekend of May, in Amsterdam. Those dates are what we are working towards and the venue is still being arranged, so treat them as provisional until we confirm them.
You bought a ticket, so you decide what happens with it. There are three options, and none of them costs you anything.
1. Keep your ticket
Your ticket stays valid for the new dates in May 2027. You do not have to do anything else, and it keeps its value whatever the price is by then. We let you know as soon as the dates and the venue are final.
2. Swap it for a Full Pass for the festival
Swap your marathon ticket for a Full Pass for the Amsterdam International Salsa Festival, 25 to 28 February 2027 at De Koning: four days, more than sixty workshops, shows and socials until six in the morning. That pass is worth €170 today and goes up on the first of every month. The pass does not have to be for you, you can put it in someone else’s name.
3. Your money back
We refund your ticket to the account you paid with. No questions, no conditions.
