Line-up
Wualexa Gonzalez Giron is one of the leading female salsa dancers in Europe. Born in Venezuela, based in Switzerland these days, where she is quietly raising the national average of hip movement. She has been teaching for fifteen years: she trained at home, then in Puerto Rico, Ecuador and Spain, and for three years she ran her own studio in Barcelona, taking dancers from a first nervous class all the way to the stage. This February she brings her own student team to Amsterdam to compete in Stargate, which tells you plenty about how she teaches.
And she stays. Wualexa teaches all day and is still on the floor at the end of the night, as happy to dance with someone who started last month as with a fellow teacher. Ask her for a dance. She says yes.
