Charlie Zafra and Verónica López have been dancing together since 2012, long enough that they finish each other’s movements the way other couples finish each other’s sentences. Home is Huelva in the south of Spain, where they run their own school, Dancelife Studio, and from there they have taught their way across Spain, Europe and a good deal further.
Their dancing is a blend: LA and New York on top, Cuban underneath, and musicality holding it together rather than tricks. This is their third time at AISF, and the people who took their class before already know why they are back. They teach all weekend and they stay for the social afterwards, so go and ask them for a dance.
